Chef Tyra Rae is a traveling personal chef and business owner of Tyra Rae’s Kitchen LLC in Houston, Texas. She was taught at a young age how to make her way in the kitchen, and has had a passion for cooking ever since. During her college life, Tyra worked in the restaurant industry, furthering her love of cooking. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Health at the University of Houston, and shortly after the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, her passion for cooking led her to begin transition into becoming a personal chef, thus Tyra Rae’s Kitchen LLC was born November 2020.

Chef Tyra Rae began cooking and selling meals from her Houston apartment. She effectively marketed her business through social media and quickly began receiving catering request for to go dinners, brunches, private dinners, party celebrations and on the go meal preps. She soon started receiving request in other states and in addition to her Houston, Texas based cooking business, Chef Tyra Rae travels doing what she loves. She has done private events for her clients in places such as Atlanta, Colorado, Dallas, Indiana, Las Vegas, Miami, Puerto Rico and her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas.

Chef Tyra Rae provides her clients with a high-level dining experience in the comfort of their own home or place of their choosing. She has found her passion and puts her all into it. Chef Tyra Rae is sincerely appreciative of all the love and support she’s received since the onset of Tyra Rae’s Kitchen LLC and looks forward to thriving in her business!
